The Seisodin Tilia-series is a family of highly integrated Strong Motion Accelerographs, tailored for precision seismic and structural health monitoring applications. Tilia instruments can be daisy chained, making them extremely versatile, reliable and easy to install. The instruments provide ultra precise measurements using state-of-the-art sensors (force-balance accelerometers or MEMS) and digitizers, all while integrating all important features required for structural health monitoring systems directly in the box.

INTELLIGENT CABLING
The Tilia-series is designed for easy, reliable and cost-effective cabling. The instruments can be supplied with interfaces for either twisted-pair CAT6 cables, or fiber optical single or multi-mode cables. Thanks to the dual ethernet concept, all instruments can be daisychained, regardless of their interface type. The instruments automatically detect cable failures, and even determine the point of failure. For critical applications where redundancy is of high importance, Tilia instruments can be expanded with a self-healing cable concept based on a ring topology.


SERVICEABLE
Tilia-series instruments are highly integrated, use well-known standard interfaces and can easily be handled by any user. The instruments have an IP67 waterproof cover which can be removed in order to access the micro-SD memory card, the USB port, power button and the replaceable 18650 battery of the uninterruptible power supply. An integrated mechanism detects if the cover is removed. This way it is always safe to replace the removable media,
with no risk of dataloss. A hermetic seal provides complete protection against water ingress, even with the cover removed – this prevents serious damage to the instrument in case the cover is unintentionally left off.
